For the first time this year, Makele’s school did science fair projects. She was so excited to participate. They did everything at school by themselves. I loved that all the boards looked like something the kids did instead of the parents.
She did her project on taste perception. She had people taste apple juice that was colored red and green along with one that was uncolored. After they tasted each one, she would ask them what flavor they thought the juice was. She won the award for the most interesting science fair project.
The night the science fair projects were voted on, the school also held a talent show. Makele performed a dance with her friends, Kylie and Koi.
