Some Good Old Classic Fun

On Saturday we took the kids to Classic Fun Center for some mini bowling and bouncing. Ever since we got a wii, they have wanted to try out bowling for real. There is an old bowling alley on the way to Makele's school, and almost every time we pass it, they ask when we can go.

The mini bowling was perfect for them - no shoe rental and the balls were the perfect size for their little hands. Plus it didn't matter when they threw a ball granny style and it bounced a few times before actually rolling down the lane.

They loved bouncing and going down the slides on the big inflatables. Jack would fling himself down the slide and do a few somersaults at the bottom.

This was his first time down, so it was relatively tame -
Jack wanted me to help him get on one of the inflatables that had two holes for the entrance side by side. Makele said to Jack, "watch and learn," then took off, jumped up to one of the holes and didn't quite make it to the other side. Meanwhile Jack decided he could do it to, so he took off and cleared the hole easily while Makele was still trying to get in! Watch and learn indeed.
We had a great time, and the kids are already asking when we can go back again!
