It has been so cold around here all year and then all of the sudden this past weekend we went to above-normal temperatures. Today it's supposed to get up to 90 degrees! So we pulled out Makele's slip-and-slide that Grandma Ellison gave her for her birthday and that Makele has been dying to use. The kids were so excited to get in their bathing suits and play in the water. Jack was jumping up and down and saying, "this gonna be fun!" Of course the weather is supposed to get colder as the week goes on, but at least they had one day of summer this early!
