Photoshop Friday

Jessica Sprague has started doing Photoshop Fridays again at jessicasprague.com. They are short (usually 10 minutes or less) tutorials on different things you can do in photoshop. A new episode debuts each Wednesday and costs only $1 that day. After that it goes up to $3.99 (although right now with the birthday sale going on they are $3.19 each) . Included with the tutorial is everything you need to make the featured layout including patterned papers and the template. They really are great little tutorials to pick up tips on how to do some cool techniques in photoshop. Plus you can complete the page in 30 minutes or less.

I have loved going through the first 3 tutorials and creating the layouts below. I am mostly self taught in photoshop, so it's been nice to pick up a few shortcuts and new techniques. I have substituted my own patterned papers in place of the ones included and added some extra embellishments to them as well.

Photoshop Friday Episode 1 (creating a masked outline):

Photoshop Friday Episode 2 (custom shape masks):

Photoshop Friday Episode 3 (hand-drawn masks):

Credits: Patterned Paper: Oh Boy! The ABC’s by Creativity by Crystal and Carina Gardner; Template, Title: Photoshop Friday #3 by Jessica Sprague; Sun: Crystal’s {Sweet Summertime} Elements by Creativity by Crystal; Everything listed can be found at www.jessicasprague.com; Font: Segoe Script.

There are 3 other Photoshop Friday tutorials where Jessica teaches you how to make a custom circle embellishment, how to convert an image to black and white then selectively add in color and how to create a digital brush from a piece of clip-art. Check 'em out!

Cute stuff! You are amazing!
I'm still figuring things out for Caroline's birthday. It will be quite simple...a cake and some balloons or something. How about you? Have you planned Aiden's party?
