We pretty much just partied all last week (at least it felt that way anyway)! On Thursday we went to the Zoo with Landon and Tia and their kids and Taryn and her kids. It hasn’t rained here for over a month, but wouldn’t you know the day we decided to go do something it was a torrential downpour all day. I really thought it would let up, but it kept coming all day. At least the kids got some pretty sweet umbrellas out of the whole deal. ;) I was sure after we dropped a wad of cash on them that the rain would stop, but they got good use out of them!
Not sure which creature is more strange looking:
Dustin looking suspiciously over his shoulder as the crazy ponchoed lady attempts to beat him with the frog umbrella:
Aiden had never been to the zoo before, so he was excited to see all the animals. He loved watching this polar bear that was playing in the water:
After the zoo we went to eat at Red Robin. They took one look at us and pulled out all the stops and gave us the best table in the house – in a back room away from everyone else. In fact, they even allowed us to close the door so we didn’t have to associate with anyone else. ;) It was actually pretty nice with all of us crazies. Our waiter sure did earn his tip waiting on 9 little kids and 5 demanding adults! ;)
We took Chloe home with us because she did not want to go to “one more boring baseball game!” The next day we went to the library, to the park for lunch and then miniature golfing.
Little glow baby:
Jack really wanted to go watch Tanner play the last game of his tournament, so we went down to Salt Lake to see him play. Of course I had to drag the girls out of the house, but they were alright once we were there! ;)
That night Jack, Jeff, Landon & Tanner went to the Bee’s game. Jack was pretty worn out from all the excitement and maybe had a touch of heat stroke because Jeff said he was acting a little funny and feel asleep in the 3rd inning. He is already asking when he can go again!
The kids were sad to see their cousins leave on Saturday morning. Jack told me he wished we lived in St. George so he could see Tanner every day. In fact he asked me if he could go live with them! There are some days I might seriously consider that! ;)

Nice! Where's that cool golf place?
Wow! You are sure keeping busy! I sure miss seeing you every now and then. Your kids are sure getting big. Wish we lived closer. It would be nice to do an adventure together very now and then!
