Weekend in St. George

We went down to St. George over the weekend for my niece Chloe’s baptism and for a little family reunion with my side of the family.IMG_0336IMG_0335
We had family pictures on Saturday night with my family.  We haven’t had a picture taken of all of us for 15 years, before any of the grandkids were born.  It was quite an adventure with 14 grandkids.  We’ll see how they turn out!
We got a hotel for Saturday and Sunday night.  The kids loved playing in the pool with their cousins.IMG_0346 IMG_0337 IMG_0339 On Sunday afternoon we had a barbeque in the park and played games.IMG_0358
Grandma & Grandpa Ellison set up a fish pond for the kids.  Aiden was quite pleased with the football he got.IMG_0361 IMG_0362 IMG_0365 IMG_0366IMG_0378
Taryn did a game where we had to draw on individual squares and then it would form a big picture.  The final result was a picture of Makele.IMG_0392IMG_0371 After lunch we played some games with water balloons.
IMG_0373IMG_0382 Of course, that led to water balloon wars, with Jeff getting the brunt of the attack:

Aiden and Laney were quite good buds and chased each other around.IMG_0379 IMG_0380 IMG_0381 IMG_0412    We played Red Rover and miraculously, only a couple of people got clotheslined! ;)IMG_0396 IMG_0398Aiden going around the circle in Duck, Duck Goose:

IMG_0409    Sunday night after it "cooled" off to around 90 degrees we hiked “the crack.”  IMG_0416 IMG_0418

There was a little pioneer house built between two rocks.  The kids loved it, even with the bat flying around inside.IMG_0435 IMG_0431
On Monday we went to Sand Hollow Reservoir.  We had fun playing in the water and sand.IMG_0442 IMG_0439 IMG_0440 It was a great little getaway and fun spending time with family.
