Eye Doctor

Makele and Aiden had their checkup with their eye doctor a coup0le weeks ago.  They both had to have their eyes dilated and looked so “hollywood” in their “sunglasses.”

They are both a bit farsighted, but don’t require glasses, thank heavens!  Aiden still has the lazy eye going on, but the doctor feels like it may be getting better.  He wants to continue to watch him. 

Makele still has Nystagmus in her eyes, which means that her eyes jump or shake when she follows something with her eyes.  They should move smoothly, but for some reason hers don’t.  He wants to continue to keep an eye on her and talk to her pediatric neurologist about what might be going on.  He wondered if it might be a side effect or have something to do with the medication she takes for her migraines.  Either way, it doesn’t seem to be affecting her vision right now which is good!
