Some Digi Stuff and a Blog Hop

For the August/September 2009 issue of Ready, Set, Create, Kasey Krause was one of our digi sponsors. At the time, she was designing for www.prettyscrappy.com, but has since taken a break to go back to school. You can check out her blog HERE. I loved the bright colors and whimsical designs of her kits. I created this mini-book with one of her Mini-Album Kits -

It was super easy to do - just drag and drop your photos into the page templates, make a few adjustments here and there and you're done! I had the book printed at artscow.com - my favorite place for photo developing and book printing (it doesn't hurt that you get a bunch of freebies when you sign up like 1200 free prints and other promotions). Jack and Makele love looking at this book. I love that it's sturdy - I don't have to worry about them getting fingerprints on the photos or ripping off embellishments!

I also created a 2-page layout using the "In the Neighborhood Kit." Those birds are so darn cute!

Yes, Makele is 6 now, so it's about time I got these pictures scrapped! I don't know why, but birthdays are so hard for me to scrapbook. I think it's because of the amount of photos I take and because of how busy all the photos are.
