Tumbling

Makele and Jack started tumbling last night. Makele is somewhat of a veteran of this kind of thing since she has been to preschool for two years and dance for one. But this is Jack's first time doing anything organized like this, so I was anxious to see how he would do. He surprised me by actually listening and doing almost everything along with the teacher. It was so cute to see him stretching.
Not the greatest picture, but I thought it was so cute of Makele and Jack stretching together.

Somersaulting across the mat - probably their favorite part!

This is the part where he wasn't listening too well - the teacher was trying to get him to do "froggy jumps" but he was having no part of it. Instead he did his own little hop across the mat!


They both are already looking forward to next week - Makele told me last night that she wishes tumbling was all the time!
